Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of GoodClawd, a service that uses AI image editing to add your pet into a real family photo. By creating a preview or purchasing a download, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility and age
You must be at least 18 years old to use GoodClawd. The service is not directed at children. If a photo you upload shows a minor, you confirm that you are the minor's parent or legal guardian, or that you have the guardian's permission to upload and edit the photo.
2. Your uploads: rights and consent
When you upload photos, you represent and warrant that:
- you own the photos or have the legal right to upload, edit, and create derivative works from them (for example, professionally shot photos may require the photographer's permission);
- every identifiable person in the photos has consented to the upload and AI editing (or, for minors, their guardian has consented);
- the photos do not violate anyone else's rights or any law.
You retain ownership of the photos you upload. You grant us a limited license to store and process them solely to generate your preview and final image and to support your order, as described in the Privacy Policy.
3. Prohibited uses
- Uploading photos of people without their consent, or of public figures, celebrities, or politicians for impersonation or misleading content.
- Using results to deceive — presenting an AI-edited image as an unedited photograph in journalism, legal, insurance, or similar contexts.
- Uploading unlawful, infringing, or abusive content.
- Removing or circumventing AI-disclosure metadata or preview watermarks.
We may refuse or cancel orders that violate these terms.
4. Your result and license
Final images are AI-edited derivatives of your own photos. To the extent we hold any rights in the generated result, we assign them to you upon payment; you may use your final image for personal, non-deceptive purposes, including printing and sharing with family and friends. Note that under current US Copyright Office guidance, AI-generated content may have limited or no copyright protection — we cannot guarantee that the generated portions of your image are copyrightable.
5. AI transparency
All results are AI-edited commemorative images, not unedited photographs. Previews carry a visible watermark and final downloads include embedded metadata identifying the file as AI-edited. You agree not to remove this disclosure to pass the image off as an authentic photographic record.
6. Payment, redo, and refunds
- Previews are free and watermarked. The high-resolution final image costs USD $2.99, processed by Stripe.
- You can review the full watermarked preview before paying — only pay if you are happy with it.
- If the paid result has a clear quality problem (for example, the pet does not resemble your references), contact us within 7 days for a free redo. If a redo cannot fix it, we will refund the purchase.
- Because the product is a digital file delivered immediately, refunds outside the situation above are at our discretion.
7. Data retention
Uploaded photos and generated images are automatically deleted 30 days after the order is created. Download your final image within that window; after deletion we cannot recover it.
8. Copyright complaints (DMCA)
If you believe content processed through GoodClawd infringes your copyright, send a notice to support@goodclawd.com including: identification of the copyrighted work, the material you believe is infringing, your contact information, a statement of good-faith belief, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act for the copyright owner. We will remove infringing material and may terminate access for repeat infringers.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". AI results vary and we do not guarantee that any result will meet your expectations. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for consumers in jurisdictions with non-waivable statutory rights.
10. Sensitive and memorial content
GoodClawd supports commemorative edits, including photos honoring pets who have passed away. These images are memorial artwork, not a representation that any event occurred. We aim to handle these orders with care, but you are responsible for deciding whether such an edit is appropriate for you and your family.
11. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the effective date above. We may suspend the service or decline orders to protect users, comply with law, or prevent abuse.
